Where is Anna Woodward Sherwood Buried? My wife and I recently visited Shoreham and Cornwall looking for the tombstone for Anna (Woodward/Woodard) Sherwood. I found her daughter, Delight Halliday in the "West Cornwall" cemetery on Highway 74 (much to my surprise). But there was no evidence of Anna there. We also looked in Evergreen Cemetery unsuccessfully. Are there any resources that might help me to find information on Anna Woodward? She is supposed to have died in 1808 in Cornwall. Her son, Alanson Sherwood, married Dolly Blair Jones of Shoreham about 1816 or so and their first son was born in Shoreham in 1818. Then Alanson and Dolly moved to Somerset, NY, in time to be included in the 1820 census in Somerset. Please respond to Glenn A. Sherwood, Jr.

John Smith of Addison CountyLink: mailto:busterb8805@msn.com
I am working to untangle the story of John Smith of Leicester, Addison Co., VT. In the History of Leicester there is a Captain John Smith that as in the town's political scene after the American Revolution. I believe this is my ancestor, John Smith, who had a daughter named Hepsibah Smith Chapman (married to Nathaniel Chapman). With a name like "John Smith" it is difficult to make sure, especially when there is a John Smith in Rutland, VT at the same time that also came from Litchfield Co., CT. Is there anyone that can do some research in Leicester or the surrounding area - or someone that knows of the Smith family from there?

1. Under the Advanced Tab enter your search term into the body search area. For this example...I used "Cornwall"

3. Hit enter.
4. Voila...instantaneous return of 202 queries containing the search term "Cornwall" across all eleven years of the archives. Phenomenal! I guess I won't be getting any work done today!
