Why You Should Search the Query ArchivesLink: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/search?path=VTADDISO
In the past it has been admittedly cumbersome to search the Addison County Query Archives at Rootsweb. Basically, you had to search and research and research for every year the Addison County Query list has been hosted at Rootsweb...which is nearly eleven years. Well, the tedium is over! To get the most out of your search of the Query Archives...use the following technique:
1. Under the Advanced Tab enter your search term into the body search area. For this example...I used "Cornwall"
2. Leave all other search boxes empty except for the prefilled box with the list name.
3. Hit enter.
4. Voila...instantaneous return of 202 queries containing the search term "Cornwall" across all eleven years of the archives. Phenomenal! I guess I won't be getting any work done today!
