Becky Skinner Hall-Thebeau is searching for the birth record from Lincoln, VT for Mark Gillett born 27 Jan 1821. This is the date on his headstone in Crown Point, NY. His Civil War enlistment also gives Lincoln, VT as his birth place.

I am looking to find some information on my great-great grandmother Olive Edwards and ultimately my connection to the Reverend Jonathan Edwards. The oldest information I have been able to confirm is that she was born in Middlebury around 1802 and her maiden name was Olive Abbe. I have reason to believe that her husband Kimball Edwards was born around the same time in Burlington.

I also understand that Jonathan & his brother Pierpont were in Vermont in the 1780's/90's

I appreciate any information/guidance you can provide in helping me learn more about Olive and ultimately the Rev. Jonathan Edwards

My wife and I recently visited Shoreham and Cornwall looking for the tombstone for Anna (Woodward/Woodard) Sherwood. I found her daughter, Delight Halliday in the "West Cornwall" cemetery on Highway 74 (much to my surprise). But there was no evidence of Anna there. We also looked in Evergreen Cemetery unsuccessfully. Are there any resources that might help me to find information on Anna Woodward? She is supposed to have died in 1808 in Cornwall. Her son, Alanson Sherwood, married Dolly Blair Jones of Shoreham about 1816 or so and their first son was born in Shoreham in 1818. Then Alanson and Dolly moved to Somerset, NY, in time to be included in the 1820 census in Somerset. Please respond to Glenn A. Sherwood, Jr.

Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY | Fordyce R. Smith b. at Monkton, VT June 20, 1813; died Nov 4, 1893. His wife, Esther Gaines b. at Glastonbury, CT June 30, 1817; died April 2, 1886.

WaiteGenealogy.org has just posted information on the line of Reuben Morehouse Waite of Shoreham, Addison, VT. There is a current eBAY auction listing for a photo of George L. Waite at the home of Charles Waite of Union Grove, WI who is likely descended from Reuben's son Charles Conant. He had, among other children, George L. Waite and Charles C. Waite who both relocated to Racine Co., WI. Reuben Morehouse Waite is a direct descendant of Thomas Waite of Portsmouth, RI.
